My parents lived at 63 Fellows st. Their names were Mr Jack Barry, and Mrs Emily Barry. Formerly Brown. My Brothers Jack, and Charlie, and Alf, and of course me. I am now 89 years of age. Still going strong. I now live on my own, and look after myself. I am still active. In fact I intend to start blogging. I cannot remember the year, but I was at school. It was a wonderful place to live. Years before that we used to live in a flat in Goldsmith Row, off the Hackney road.
My dad came from Spitafields market area. It was a slum area. Fellows st was the first complete house we lived in. My Dad was on the London Council County ambulance service, after world war 2. We lived in London all through the war, and were bombed out twice. we lived in Boston street part of that time. I cannot remember too many details as I was 5years of age when war started. It is wonderful to be able to write about it. Sincerely, Sid Barry.
